Dear Newton,

Thank you to every voter who came out in the cold, drizzling rain and cast their vote.

Thank you to every supporter, of every candidate who stood out in the cold, drizzling rain and held a sign for his/her candidate of choice.

And thank you, to every candidate for running and contributing to the practice of democracy here in Newton.

I am thrilled and honored to be one of the new Alderman-elect for Newton. I am so excited to be able to serve Newton in yet another capacity. I can only hope to be worthy of you all.
